This Feels Like LoveA Poem by Amant CacheStreet culture inspiration...Our poetry isn't just words cliches, rhymes... text on pages to make what we have feel better, the slang of today's time, the writing on the walls... We are more than paint and carbon emissions that frost fence posts and partitions... Our slang is more than just blunt point sharpie on bathroom fixtures and table legs. Our song is more to me than any doo-whop I've strained to listen to... more than any ballad that ever brought a tear to my eye... Our song is like pure unadulterated honey dripping with sweetness that when pressed upon my tongue tickles my senses and speaks volumes of your love... Our song is the only music that could make me fall to my knees in prayer... The only music that could ask me to give it all up and I'd actually do it- Oh baby, what I wouldn't do to fade into this life with you....over and over... and still, over and over... You are my poetry. You are my graffiti. My slang...my song... My lover, you are as timeless as the words I cannot muster...and as permanent in my heart as the carving of "you-n-me" on an old oak tree. © 2008 Amant CacheFeatured Review
