Disease

Disease

A Poem by Mandi

To sit and think of all I've seen
To sit and wish what might have been.
A lonely body sits to linger
A hand traces curves with only a finger.
Love lost, love had
Thoughts of you- maybe this won't hurt so bad.
Screams cry, screams aloud
Nightly lovers newly found.
Sexy turns, twists, tormenting curves
You'll one day get all you deserve.
Crying so silent, needs to be sound
trying I gasp- but nothing is found.
Breathing so quick, his hands move so fast
My finale has come he shall be my last.
Alluring eyes, a devilish grin
You made me the wanted sin.
He's finished, finally, a disgusted feeling
A gruesome, rotten kind of healing.

You have mastered motion in your words. It's life like. It breathes, and it gasps for breath when it knows the world is ending.

Great balance of opposing feelings, simultaneously. I guess life is like that.

I like the honest and direct tone of the poem. You described real life and emotion given and accepted. Your description without regret till the ending of the poetry. You create places of freedom and regret in the same poem. Which is hard to do. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
