Behind these eyes

Behind these eyes
is my strength,
a once broken soul
trapped in so many lies.
Darkness
became my only truth,
until now
until you.
Stripped down bare
you’ve seen my depth
you breathe life
into the very core of my being,
you give me hope
fill me with love
and make me believe.
