The Ballad of Tony J. Nelson

The Ballad of Tony J. Nelson

A Poem by Alastair
"

a humorous ballad i made of my friend

"

There was a boy dropped from the sun

The greatest; slick and sly

For down at home in "his" A.C

No girl escaped his eye

He fitted in his Gothic best

And packed his black and mild's

He grabbed his trunk and asthma pump

So he can now go wild

He came across a group of friends

They always told his tale

But what Tony didn't realize was

They also told his fails

T.J Nelson always depressed

But never stays put down

You can win some and you lose some

It's how he gets around

Became Leader of the Ak Squad

And then he got the girl

He then wore his purple Sweater

And she destroyed his world

Friends recall the fail as epic

And tony felt pestered

But then he shrugged it off "like Hey"

Always next semester

Ha, very interesting. I don't think I've ever read a ballad but I like this one. It has good flow and a story line to it. Great job
