Wrath

It is important for you to understand 

that I am not a good person.

My sin is wrath.

The rage in my chest was not always there,

It was bred.

I will not let go of my hate 

it is my hate that protects me. 

I need you to understand. 

I need someone to understand.

That I am not a good person.

Forgiveness is not in my nature.

I have formed emotional attachments

to some of my dearest grudges.

I am wrath.

I am rage.

I am unrelenting.

I have dreamt of flaying my enemy

and setting him on fire.

I was not afraid.

I was proud.

This is the heart spilled out onto the page...blood in letters, written from a place of honesty and raw grit. I quite enjoyed this piece, mostly because it felt "real". There is a freshness to your wording and phrasing that makes reading your an experience I enjoy very much.
