Seek Me

Seek Me

A Poem by Erica Corbitt
"

A poem written after I saw an illustration of a boy with a red cape searching in a winter forest.

"
Seek me.
Your red cape flying int he white, barren wind.
Seek me.
Your tired feet carrying your mercilessly to an end.
Seek me.
With the roar of what we left unsaid in your ears.
Seek me.
Search long and far but soon you'll find, I've always been right here.

Howdy! I'm a music therapy student at GCSU in Georgia. I write irregularly. Most of it comes from venting to myself late at night. Whatever. more..
