Flowering TreesA Poem by Whispering PinesThis is a poem that I wrote during school one day in early spring. There is a kind of tree whose flowers are whispy and white. They are what inspired me.
I peer from prison-like windowed glass
Caught in the fleeting beauty Of the whiting windswept blossom Beckoning, they whisper to me, Abandon duty, come with us, To the world where darkness is light And the sky is made of flowers © 2012 Whispering PinesReviews
