Wrote this for the person I was too blind to see the beautiful side of.

He said so much stuff
Too blind, I didn't mind
Words that should have made me blush
Some things I failed to realize

I hope that it's not too late
Is it the end of a sightless debate?
Please wait for my goodness sake
I just came from a long wake

Please take me in
Even if it has been so long
Hidden under layers of skin
Clueless of the evident, I've been so wrong

Is this the end of a chance?
Are we to such a brotherly extent?
With one look, a piercing glance,
Brings out showering regrets
