One day to mourn for them
After the dust settled Barley a minute to grieve for them as the present moment took him a hold it was always one day for him one day to give in to the pain abandonment, injury, stress all that remained were a few hours one day to sulk in his room he could cry, drink, yell, whatever anymore than that seemed like weakness perfection drilled into his core but to see him one more time he would need more than a day the same sly grin that lied to him and the frail hands that slipped away from him one day was not enough to curse the b*****d nor was it enough to drink and scream to pass out from exhaustion with the everlasting headache that followed he was willing to give up a day or more for that b*****d he so desperately hated one day or more to drink, curse, and scream one day to remember how to cry © 2024 NathanGarnder |
