dragons bane

dragons bane

A Poem by duffin
"

a tale of dragons and war

"

dragons bane

dragons fly up in the sky

townsfolk run and pray and hide

the fire burns swiftly threw the fields

blood and bodies the lake doth fill

children loughing now but cry

warriors take to mount and ride

tension quickly rising builds

the lake once bloody and now the hills

dragons fall from out the sky

young men soldiers dowsed in pride

the wikeds priced threw thick hide

lake and hills are all the same and blood soaks back into the plain
