nectar of the gods

nectar of the gods

A Poem by ganastasia
"

At the age of 14 I was interduced to the lightman. He took me on a journy in a firey chariot to a living burning hell. And he still lives with me.This is on of my poems that I have writing after my trip with the Lightman.

Nectar of the Gods

Once upon this blissful morn
the sunshine came to me

And told me of a story of
a busy honey bee

Who gathered all the sweetness
from the flowers of the field

And he would suck the nectar till nothing more would yield

And then to find another one
He noticed then the majestic one
Standing all alone and
dancing in the wind

With aromatic fragrance
calling to come in

But his grandeur turned to poison
as he would play about

The petals closed upon him and there was no way out

I wonder if last moments were struggling to get free

Or keeping with the nature
of a busy honey bee

Love this poetic tale as told by the sun.

Since the look of a poem is oft as important as the poem itself, I suggest a second look at the arrangement. For example, why the indents? Are you trying to highlight those particular phrases?

While the words hit the mark, for me, the arrangement ditracts a bit. But then who am I?
