The HallA Poem by the_kateGroups float around me. They silently taunt me. Remind me I don’t belong. I’m stared at. They wonder, why is she alone? Nobody stops to ask. I feel the tears coming. I duck into a bathroom, command myself to stop. But I can’t. I can’t keep it in any longer. But I have to. Just get to class. I come back out, my cheeks damp. Nobody asks what’s wrong. Why would they? I’m nobody. © 2010 the_kateReviews
