This is basically what I feel every morning, Monday through Friday before I go to school.
Why do I have to go to this horrible prison that they call school I'm teased I'm taunted my life is miserable at school they all hate me I don't know why maybe it's because I do well in school
I like it. I like how you told about the struggles and difficulties of school. I also like how you put in what the mom, dad, and the girls gave motivation to the person telling this poem. I really like it, and I think you should write more poems like this.
Ooo, I really like this one. Because school does seem like a prison and people always say that later on, we'll be free and gone from it. But it doesn't matter because we're still stuck in it for now. I can most definently relate to this one :)
I totally understand this feeling (I'm going in my final year next year so woot)
And what you said really hits home and makes me remember back in intermediate when my parents said the exact same thing to me xD

This is sad. I was one of those nerds who really enjoyed going to school. haha. However, that is not the point of this review. The point is to congratulate you on a fantastic piece of poetry. The line breaks do the punctuating, which I have to get used to as a writer. I am used to reading a poem until I hit a punctuation. However, I feel like this piece works either way in that if one were to read it straight through, they would feel out of breath. A feeling that is not good and it really puts them in the shoes of the author. I dunno, just a weird thing I like. :) Thank you very much for sharing this. I really enjoyed it.
This is my favorite poem you have posted. The line breaks separate and punctuate entities. Many times line breaks chop composition to indigestible, disruptive pieces. You strike a chord with any type of success story. Often, there are those who try to hold down with put downs but any worthwhile aspiration requires supreme determination.
I'm a younger writer, and I live in a small town out in western Kansas. It feels like the middle of nowhere sometimes. I write because I want to get away from this place. When I write, I can go anywhe.. more..
