A Glitter Consumer and a Dirt ChewerA Poem by theOsiePosie
For Adele...
A girls voice like it was carved by angels Such voice that plants gold on her palms Her heart sparkles as if she consumes glitter But her nature something more unique Her life so grounded she practically chews dirt And her mouth filthy and colloquial But it gains a laugh from every being Which is why such love for her exists The first in memory Who smashed the glass Between herself and the world But can somehow shield herself as she pleases The contrast of her soul Makes her mesmerisingly beautiful She gathers interest from thousands A jaw dropper of sorts A girl who if not present Could still never be gone Since her voice can always be recalled © 2013 theOsiePosie |
