Entertaining With TambourinesA Poem by theOsiePosie
A man he wonders the stone cold alleys,
Dreaming of the stars, Empty pockets and a hungry ache, But all he needs is a tambourine, A tambourine it entertains few dozens, But if anyone was to die for such talent, It would be the man in the alley. He waits in the moonlight for the first beam of sun, Then chases the beams 'til the spotlight shines, 'Listen all and listen well to the man and his tambourine' Eyes begin to grow and ears start to twitch, And a tide of smiles hit the alley man. The man he gave all up to follow his heart, A rich man once but sorrow blanketed his being, So he spent every penny on his dream, Now delight falls on him like showers of rain, Thanks to that one tambourine. © 2013 theOsiePosieAuthor's Note
