The Logic Tower

The Logic Tower

A Poem by Christopher S. Jacobs
"

Another poem from my new book!

"

The tower of logic stands tall

shimmering in the sun,

basking in the glow of the soul for all to see.

Blackening the soul of course,

for it was wrongly placed in front

of the river’s flow.

It must topple so that the soul can be released upon,

not just tomorrow, but today, the present, future’s wake.

Logic corrupts the soul’s ascension,

it…must…go…

God is not receptive to logic alone.

Anything in excess is bad…food, sex,

even logic…the soul is forever…

make it last for tomorrow for all the world to see…

even for me to see.
