Hazel.A Poem by DestinyAnd once I break, I break. And I could rain with just a look into your eyes
And yes, love. That is a bad thing.
My eyes, a dripping desert My hair would be delighted To lay upon your chest.
Hazel are the walls now I tell them "go away!" Hazel, Hazel, Hazel, Hazel Day, by day, by day.
Enough.
I threw out your roses today, I fed them to the creek. For every time I passed the sink, My stomach liked to ache.
My eyes, a heated pink My heart, a hurried drum I know you thought you had me Pressed underneath your thumb...
But Hazel are the walls now I tell them "let me be!" Hazel, Hazel, Hazel, Hazel I see, I see, I see.
I remember the day I saw you, You brought me smokes and a warm embrace
I remember the day I kissed you You lifted my chin, I covered my face
I remember the day I loved you I believed your smile, your words were lace
Hazel are the walls now The color's getting lame Dull muddy green You'll never ever change.
