Word Salad 1

Word Salad 1

A Poem by Destiny
"

A collection of odd unfinished two liners (or so) that i write down on receipts, envelopes etc. but mainly scrawled in my sketchbook.

"

I'm walking on an orange and purple sidewalk to the sun

The yellow grass crawls through the cracks and shoots like a gun

Love

We want love

We want everyone to understand

That we too have our own life span

They need to know that everyone has skeletons

Let me live among the trees, this people world is not for me

And her communication grew so terrible that she eventually lost her mouth

I see this face beneath the sea

I dare to ask "Why, is this me?"

Let go of your fears
Climb into the real world
Just soar with the wind
And swim with the current
And smile while you can

Live.

Her lipstick was red

Her smile was wide

Her eyes were like roses

That were never to die

When she cries

It floods my mind

Her spirit was beautiful

And so was her vibe

This lonely road

this tiny strip of grass

Just the way I left it

The only thing missing

is you.

And then she lived,

as well as she possibly could
