Mother

Mother

A Poem by Destiny

Pink toes on mossy ground
Without a sound
I walk around
The trees are weeping for the death of their kin
Like a dream
Nature's trying to breath
Saying

Why has mother gone away?
They've killed her and left me here to stay
My petals have perished in the flame
Will someone help keep us from the grave?

Have you seen her precious sun?
Her light is out, her time is done
Have you looked upon her lovely moon?
It got washed up by our doom

Author's Note

Destiny
I know it may be a little off, but when the guitar and vocals are added in it works a lot better.
