World WeaverA Poem by Rachel K.Dark, brooding, in the night;
Encompassing what is right. Unraveling the wonders of the world; Should be more to one mind to hold. Ever in the shadows lie; Hear its mournful, haunting cry. Sending shudders down your spine; Through the musty, mouldering pines. Ancient, knowing, old as time; Knowing all of reason and rhyme. None as evil, none as good; Sleeping fitfully in the woods. Where the sunlight never sees; In the ancient, powerful trees. Where no man has ever been; And where they'll never be again. None so ancient, none so new; Older and newer than me and you. From the beginning, and at the end; None control, and none command. Weaving Fate, as blind as Death; Faster than one whole breath. None can see, none can behold; The Weaver of Worlds, as we are told. © 2011 Rachel K.Author's Note
