Deep Blue Sea

Deep Blue Sea

A Poem by T.H. Dalton

I close my eyes to memorize her face.
But careful not to fall into her eyes.
Ha! Those eyes of the deep blue sea.
They sparkle as of a grain of salt,
rolling in the waves of the deep blue sea.
Her smile is as of a true bliss.
A true bliss is all that I do wish.
Just for one touch is all I do wish.
But I know it will be too much,
for that single touch.
I open my eyes to find my self alone,
All alone, nothing but walls of a deep blue sea.
