The Wish

The Wish

A Poem by T.H. Dalton

I wish upon a star so far,
I can see the star. For a true
bliss is for what I wish.
A true bliss is what I miss.
I walk on, alone in this mist of
shattered and scattered dreams.
I watch the darkness shift from side to side.
Oh how it moves with such grace,
but yet with out a face.
The darkness whispers,
I am your true bliss in witch you do wish.
