alcohol

A Poem by that_awkward_ho
"

I recollect on how my mother went from loving mother to a lover of alcohol.

"

I remember the way my mother used to smell

Like coconut and a

blend of sweet splendid spices

A Kind, Loving smell

                      A Retired smell

I remember the way I used to lay in her arms

Safe and protected

Breathing in her motherly aroma while she

hummed a sleepy tune

But Now, she smells like a fresh

bottle of Death
