Sacrificial LambA Poem by KenazSo be this where the sinner came, Unto them I should sacrifice, The ghost begot a mortal frame, Which as a god would not suffice, An idol wound with cloak and cane, Wretching bout with cats and mice. Forsooth he know not what he does, Yet knoweth that he can’t undo, Naïve to what the purpose was, This sanctity that I should lose, Anfore the favor of mine love, For which these men hath yet prove.
