Song of the SpringA Poem by KenazWaking up- PS I realize that it is not Spring :)How the comely morning sings, 'Tis only finer in the spring, The robins stir me from my sleep, And lift me up onto my feet. The yawning window lets the breeze, Of springtime dawdle in at ease, And so as I must wake from bed, The sun up-heaves his mighty head. Golden rays shoot ‘cross the grass, That turn the dewdrops all to glass, And granules of the shingles glow, Across the rooftops high and low. If every morning greets me such, I shall be merry to wake up.
