Beautiful snow

Cold white beautiful flakes 
Falling from the sky
The icy roads are covered 
With snowflake dust

Childern run around 
Their front yards
With their parents watching
From the living room windows

Cheerful expressions are
Upon the childrens faces
For they love the feel of
Cold snow on their warm skin

Laughter fills the streets 
As snowballs are thrown
And snow is bunched up
To make lop-sided snowmen

There is a linger of fear though
That all happiness
Will be gone soon
But no one knows when

So until then
All there is to do
Is enjoy the laughter and happiness
Until it's gone

Very nice, I like the last two stanzas. It shows that not everything is perfect yet there's always hope for something. It's true true to enjoy things while they last.

Very pretty imagery here, and I like the fun, light mood. Haha, if only i still felt that way about snow...I hate it 'cause its so cold. But its definitely pretty, and I love writing and reading snowy scenes.
