Catholicity is a Catastrophe

Raised in the Catholic faith, Grew up Agnostic. At least they tried?

Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, or Christian, eager to speak hesitant to listen; words and stories forced down our throats of Jesus, angels, and fishermen’s boats. 

Stories and parables I’m calling it quits, you can believe them but I’m thinking bullshit.

A man sent from up above who preached and taught so much love, could teach us to hate on someone because they don’t attend church enough?

God hates f**s; well that’s a load of crap.  This man you worship is a man I can’t stand.

Maybe it’s not the man but those who represent him, years of teaching lost in translation, would the son of god really promote discrimination? 

Maybe this guy was just a cool dude who cured the lame and blessed his food; to me he preached a world where no one would be misunderstood.

The misunderstanding comes from the head of the religion, breeding followers so judgmental from interpretations so malignant.

Scriptures and gospels taken and twisted to find a definition self serving and beneficial, these pastors and preachers cannot be your teachers for what they teach are rules and restrictions.

Charity, Temperance, and chastity?  Catholicity is catastrophe, suppression and dictatorship hidden by golden boxes and cracker chips.

Jesus loved all of us whole heartedly, so why church are you pushing us all out.  If we don’t  make your cut then we can’t get in.  Is Heaven really a VIP room for only those without your definition of sin?

Jesus taught us to love your neighbors as equals so listen to that instead of waiting for his sequel, by the time judgment day arrives  and the wave of people pass through the pearly gates will there even be a pastor in sight?

The bible was written by an older generation and your adaptations have strayed far the realization Jesus was trying to make. 

Jesus didn’t teach us restrictions he brought us the beatitudes and for that have gratitude, he taught us if we live a life full of mercy, justice, charity, joy, peace and light then at the end of our days everything will be alright.
