ONLY IN MY DREAMS

ONLY IN MY DREAMS

A Poem by KCthelastboyscout

In my dreams, I am the object of a woman's desire
Adored unlike any other
A beautiful Adonis for all to behold
But I wake up
The fantasy is over
LIFE is not a dream...

In my dreams, I am someone's first love
Someone's lost love
Someone's true love
Someone's great love
But I wake up
The fantasy is over
LIFE is not a dream...

In my dreams, I am not alone
I have a family of my own
My wife and I are the beginning of generations to come
But I wake up
The fantasy is over
LIFE is not a dream...

I once thought, in my life, all my dreams would come true. I never imagined it would only happen when I was asleep...

You do know what you want in life and dreaming about it too. Dreams do come true, it is only a matter of time. I wish you all the best and a wonderful future filled with happiness to your heart's content.

Sometimes the best things in life happen as we get older, just hang in there and keep your eyes peeled

Not a very happy place to be. The dreams, however, keep hope alive. Caged birds must dream a lot.
