This darkness that consumes me...
Consumes us
Where does it come from?
Who placed this seed of evil inside us to root within our hearts?
We allow it to control our better selves
We seek to destroy all meaningful things around us
We are lost in madness

But there is the light
It can be seen in the distance
So why avoid what can be seen?
Why avoid what gives life?
Here, in waiting, is the unknown
Stay in this comforting place
Everything capable of love will eventually end
Embrace where you are
You are already here...

just like my previous comment on your part 2 which is about light. there is the insatiable curiosity in every man to discover and explore what life is all bout, basically it is what the philosophers are trying to answer for centuries but still no definite answers but only lots of interpretations. anyway this is a big change from your other writings so keep it up, definitely you have the talent for it.
