Your painted toenails
... your smile

No makeup. No bra. Your hair up in a bun. Wearing your little cut off cotton shorts

You can't sing, but you don't care. Whatever song comes on that you like,
you sing it out loud and unabashedly

The way you rub my stomach and give me that "look" when you're in the mood

I like scary movies and you hate them, but you watch them with me anyway. You get scared and you hold me so tight

You taught me to appreciate beautiful moments of the day. Sunrise and sunset,A windy day. And the rain... Especially the rain

...and your smile

We did not have the happy ending we wanted, but I remember us together fondly. Some memories fade away In time, but these were some of the lovely things about you I never want to forget
