The first time I understood the meaning of "having my mind blown" was seeing my first movie The Empire Strikes Back. The second time was the first time going to a Toys R Us store. I understood how a grocery store worked. That's where we got our food.But a store where there's nothing to shop for but toys? I never wanted to leave.
I remember getting bikes, board games, atari, nintendo, uno cards baseball gloves and bats. Always grateful for everything. Childhood were some of the best times of my life and receiving and playing with toys were part of that. But naturally, as I grew older, I put away childish things. I can always remember my first time going to Toys R Us, but sadly I can't remember the last time...

kc i still go to toys r'us outlets here, we still have some in our country, and reading your story was just like reminding me of something that no matter what our age are, we will always be kids at heart.
