This was an incredible idea. A reality check in a way on how the lives of others you once knew could possibly turn out. You are definitely a creative writer, keep going and don't stop writing.
It really is sobering to think that not everyone we meet will live a full life. Sometimes they make mistakes, sometimes they just get unlucky. Life is a maze full of and twist and turns, and not everyone makes it to the end.
IT IS wonderful when some of your high school friends are still friendly and have not changed but time can play havoc and some people do change after fifty years... I like this approach to your fourth grade photo.
No fair ! you should've used the photo !
I do the same thing imagining a little low down in my headabout strangers while in line...waiting areas...while flying..in traffic...boring meetings
etc
I never went to a class reunion
as I barely collided with but a few old friends over the years
it is entertaining...
I'm sure they think i'm either terribly friendly or crazy lol smiling away
A class photo is the sweetest and most nostalgic thing that can remind so much of the fond childhood days!😊
The most special days of a person's life as an innocent kid, so unaware, of the big , wide world.
It's been past 6 or 7 since I left school, and I still have the class photos from nursery to 12th grade, and it is indeed a very special feeling gazing at those pics! The best part? They make me smile heartily!😊
A picture says a lot, and mere gaze at those pictures remind me of all the bittersweet memories I had with my friends and teachers then.
As for those friends and teachers, I'm still in contact with them, and I am so glad that after these many years the love and care remains the same😊
Thankyou so much for sharing this piece KC, you reminded me of the most precious days of my life! The days I shall never forget 💖😊
