Matter that mattersA Poem by TevinAn intricate poem about the alteration of things that matter in my life. The ever expanding space with limited matter Most matter has magically vanished to a realm where it can never deter My amygdala is now vestigial like my love for her She is in between my space and where most matter went It feels like Lois Lane used kryptonite to kill Clark Kent I feel like she still matters but my love for is now bent She slowly swayed with the vortex out of my space The red shift,I'm light years away from her space I'm in andromeda she is in the milkyway many light years away We don't orbit the same star and we are not exposed to the same rays I'm in an exoplanet surrounded by supernovas and nebulae I'm inevitably evidence that life exists elsewhere in the universe Someday she'll come to me because earth is slowly dying © 2016 Tevin |
