Love again

Love again

A Poem by Tevin Armoogum
"

This is a brief prose to make heartbroken peeps realize that everything's not over after a rupture.

"

You’re not shattered, you’re broken. You can be fixed.

You’re not fragmented, you’re cracked. You can be mended.

You are not dead, you fainted. You can be revived.

You did not drown, you sunk. You’re still breathing.

You don’t miss her. You miss the inside of her.

You don’t miss her smile. You miss the dynamic curvature of her lips.

You don’t hanker for her voice. You desire to hear your name reach your soul.

You don’t yearn for her. You crave for the affection she gave you.

You don’t want her back. You need the blank space to be filled.

You lust for love. You want to feel these moments again, fearful but rhapsodic.

You will be fixed. She just took away the most common piece of the puzzle. Someone else owns that, and shall she complete thy life.
