Ode to the sheep

Ode to the sheep

A Poem by tarah morris

My random sheep, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you chirp, skip and bounce,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the yellow jounce.

Let me compare you to a cute sawdust?
You are more feathered and more attractive.
Quaint heat toasts the fledged frolics of August,
And summertime has the jolly practive.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your cunning upper lip and thigh.
Thinking of your upper lip fills my days.
My hate for you is the thundery fly.

Now I must away with an adorned heart,
Remember my gay words whilst we're apart.
