Emotions flood throughout my core-

~Your pink painted lips pressed against mine,

the feeling I remember, was so divine.

As you caressed the skin upon my cheek,

the windows to your soul made me weak.~

-I don't want to look anymore.

Turn off the light.

Please just let me sleep tonight.

Maybe things will get better without the light?

I allow the shadows consume me,

to hide what I don't want to see.

I don't need to admit the truth

I can hide these things easily.

Darkness is my only friend.

He allows my reality to seemingly bend.

No matter where I go or where I am,

I'll always have a shadow, where I stand.

No. No. No. This can't be right...

I cannot have a shadow, without the light.

I cannot let darkness win this fight.

I must stay strong through the night.

I need to listen.

I need the light.
