chapter 2 - Soulmates?

On the morning after Aubreys first feeding Jazlyn felt woozy , tired , and like she had been hit by a bus . She was awake only for a few hours , during that time she tried to break free of the cuffs that held her in the cell. She heard a voice in her mind stop, Jaz . I know what your trying to do , i'll be down in a moment to move you , just stay calm and relax. And with that he blinked into her cell .

" Hey , are you okay?"

 " How can I be 'okay' ? I've been kidnapped by a vampire , blood bonded to him , and locked in a cell for a meal!"

" I thought you were going to relax?"

" Relax? you want me to relax ?"

"Yeah , I kinda need you to relax to take those cuffs of without being pricked by the wood." and with that statement Jazlyn relaxed .Thats better ,Jaz . He smiled towards her and finished taking off the cuffs . Jaz stood up and took the hair band she had and tied up her hair , exposing her neck .

       Aubrey had not yet fed and when she exposed her neck it took all his restraint not to lunge at her throat . Jaz ,he thought, put your hair down , please .

      "Why?"she said backing up against the wall. I haven't fed today and your making this really , really hard .

 " Oh , sorry " she said puttting her hair down . Then she had a thought , he did'nt disarm me , maybe i can hurt him bad enough to get away.

  " Aubrey?" she cooed " want a drink?" She bent her throat so he could bite.

 " N-no, p-please don't d-do this , Jaz" with that she walked straight up to him and looked him in the eye and held his waist , baring her neck .

" Jaz, you do know what your'e doing " Aubrey whisperd . and with that she stood on he tip toes and kissed his cheek. Her neck at the level of his mouth , she was teasing him and then he took the bait . He drank quickly and she raised her leg and pulled the little wooden dagger out of her hunters boot. She moved her arm slowly to his and pointed it so as to slit his arm but he clasped his hand around her wrist , hard , hard enough to make her drop her blade . Now he was slowly reducing the speed at wich he was drinking .

She lost the feeling of herself . For a moment Jaz felt guilty . She was intentionally manipulating him . A feeding vampire was an easy target ; most of them cmpletly lost sensse of their surroundings as they drew blood. Aubrey did not even try to catch her mind as he fed, but it happend anyway .

What are you doing Aubrey!?

Hey, I have'nt fed in two days.

Well hurry up i'm getting lightheaded.

Well deal with it Jaz .

Wow ,Jaz thought , those lights are beautiful

Jaz , what lights ?

The ones at the center of your mind

Stay out of my mind Jaz!

Uh , hmmm let me think about it , oh yeah ,no.

Wait,this is'nt right last time we were deeper, we should'nt be here , we should be somewhere deeper.

deeper?

yeah , deeper.

What do you mean by that?

the soulmate principle , it's back .

Wait , you think we're- ? that's insane .

Is it?

Aubrey , im about to - and then Jaz passed out

    When jaz came to she was'nt in the cell she was in Aubreys' bedroom , and Aubrey was sitting in the corner of the room , tears runing down his face saying to himself "If only i didn't take so much blood -"

  "Aubrey, it's not your fault." she said in a barely audible whisper , but Aubrey heard her and he raised his head out of his hands

"Jaz?" he asked

" No s**t sherlock" she said getting up

"whoa, oh no you don't your staying down, i took way to much for you to heal in less than fourteen days, and you've only been out for seven."He continued "I'm going out to feed now that your awake , stay lying down unless I tell you to get up, or if it's a real emergency."

" Fine ." and with that Jazlyn went back to sleep

 Jaz,wake up.

i'm up.

good now get to the front of my house. 

why?

just do it !

okay , i'm going.

Good ,I'm out side , come find me

i'm right behind you .

"Oh,good we gotta get outta here"

"why?" she said falling asleep

"Kaleo , he's a pain in the a*s and he's coming here to take your blood." and with that Jazlyn colapsed ,still awake.

"Then lets go ." jazlyn said before she asleep

Wow, that's all I can say >w< Although I still need to get used to Aubrey's name. I keep thinking it's a girl since I only have seen that name used for a girl.. But so far so good I'll try getting to more later :)
