Oh, Northwest

Oh, Northwest

A Poem by Terry Lynn
"

Lovin' the thought of returning home.

"

From the western red cedar

To the old growth hemlock

To th egorgeous waterfalls

And the towering rocks

Inlets and islands

Rainforests and parks

The Hall of Mosses

The many landmarks

From Rialto Beach

To Elliot Bay

So much to do

Too many places to play

The Space Needle Skyway

The snow-capped peaks

Such wonderful places

The thrill of the seek

The falcon, the eagle

The deer and the bear

All are great

And all are there

Once taken for granted

Now held dear

Going home

So far away yet, so near
