This sinking feeling is coming too close

A siren is blaring emergency

Breathing is becoming difficult

Oxygen escaping

Throat tight enough to strangle

Eyes burning with raw emotions

Body akin to an earthquake

Mind the aftermath of a hurricane

Losing sensation

Abandoning all thoughts

Memories tear through this Berlin Wall

Heart cracking like the Liberty Bell
