Overwhelming Emotions

Was listening to music and started thinking. Then BLAM this came out.

These emotions are changing

The intensity is rapidly increasing

From a trickle of a faucet, to the outlet of a dam

Starting to lose myself

This sensation of drowning is becoming overwhelming

I'm not sure if my heart can take much more

I need to put a plug on these overflowing emotions

To constrain them to a stream

Something somewhat manageable

I do not wish to become a desert

Yet this waterworld is destroying me

I liked this a lot. I can relate more than I like to admit, haha. This flowed really well and I like the imagery and how descriptive you are.
