Nirvana

Nirvana

A Poem by Mariam

Eyes are the mirror of the soul...
So why to keep them open?
Was forced to bend it
to a sordid role,
but cover with a curtain
light and woven.
Now look at me!
I sit beside like Buddha.
A peaceful smile, 😌 my eyelids shut.
Come closer with the kiss of Judas -
won’t let you in...

My mind is pure nirvana.
No agony, no broken heart,
no drama.
