Blessing

Blessing

A Poem by Mariam

Dark waves were my fortune and blessing!
When the moon came out confessing,
I fell on the sands and buried my waist, as if dressing…

The dream stroke gentle breeze,
Left me suppressing
My thoughts…
Oh how oppressing it was
To breathe without your love and caressing!

you write short poems but you teach many lesons in some lines like the message of love and caresses of Allah you have taught in this poem. especially these lines of last paragraph
Oh how oppressing it was
To breathe without your love and caressing!
are amazing.
grab the certificate of victory, lying at your doorsteps.
Love this piece.
Keep writing.

An interesting piece. I liked the poem where you've poured the beauty of love and memories of someone. Very nice theme.

thanks for understanding :)
Interesting rhyme scheme in this one! Lots of romantic longing in this one. I liked the colored background too. Lydi*
