Picture those sweethearts with wild chamomiles,

Their scent is quite heady, winded from several miles,

Love is not silence, if skies are dark grey,

Thunder showers are heavy, its presence will ray.

I like to say its not raining unless it hurts when it hits you, then they told me that was hail, well hail is Hell to sleep through under a tin roof,and I would much rather walk through a heavy dew,with pollen pasted , smeared along pants legs,wishing for that ray peaking , peaking over there, points to wish for,even from several miles.

Would a ray ...beam or shine or...ray???
Would the sun... beam or shine ... sun???
Please explain will ray and if it is a proper grammar... Just wondering .
Please help me out here for I'm still scratching my head... Sorry for the bother...:)

I got puzzled too,I think according to the definition from dictionaries I can use this verb here,cause to ray means this
(verb (used without object)
-to emit rays.
-to issue in rays.
I didn't write about the Sun here,because it's allegorical. (Love emits rays =love rays) so love is like sun. But the sun can either beam or ray (sunbeam, sunray)

But ray is a noun like the sun or car. Can't be used as verb but in connection with like sun ray ... You know better??? I'm puzzled. Can you ask aprofessor for we are both puzzled...No offence

I'm used to trust dictionaries not my thoughts I never pretend to say that I'm sure or know better,for English language is not my mother tongue.No offence too.I will find some examples for both of us.
