The Veil

Sometimes I have to make them think

               that when I stumble on my words

      in a sentence,


it's really
                     nothing much to worry about.



           In all actuality,

     it's the thought

     of that vacancy

that is enough
         to make me


never
         step
                  foot

                                    in the ocean again.
