A Thanksgiving to Remember

A Thanksgiving to Remember

A Poem by Kicker of Elves
"

God damn you. The next time I see you...

"

Their shrieks and shrills

Wake me still

At 4:30 each night

My ears are filled

The vivid pictures of your bloody body

What was I to think? You’re life has been so shoddy.

The needle between your tangled limbs

It seemed you’d finally paid for all your sins.

I shook you

I shook you hard.

You didn’t respond.

B*****d.

Poetry is a wonderful way to vent. I like people who tell it like it is.
