Death

I painted your picture in my head,
For so long you haven't gone,
Your face locked away in the deepest corner of my heart,
Still here withstanding of us falling apart,
Have you known all along that you'll capture me? Every part of me?
Have you known all along how much I'd fall?
Falling in love with you most of all?
Even though you might have thought I would be able to forget you love, that I would move on, you’re wrong,
I haven't gone..
these tears are like diamond droplets
cuts of glass in all shapes and spheres,
When I loose touch with reality,
I think of those times when you were here with me,
 Oh how we fell in love.
Reminiscing of your death,
Only makes me yearn to be by your side,

following in your footsteps.
Did you know all along?
Know that you would leave and have me so weak,
I can barely hold on..
Sweet heart my heart can only take so much.
Oh how I miss the way you felt when we made love, your kiss, your touch..
Your voice has been imprinted in my soul,
I can no longer have the strength to move on,

I can no longer be whole....

Hello Rotena,

An excellent piece with a strong emotional connection. It feels real and hearthfelt. I could feel the anguish and pain. Flow was a little choppy but nothing that took away from the piece. Course that is just my opinion. Overall again very excellent.
