In the dark

In the dark

A Poem by Tena Luvs

I awake at the peak of dawn,
reaching for my long black hair,
But to see your lovely fingers tangled in them,
your breathing soft and sound as the moon shines in,
a breath taking crimson.
I dare not remove my hair for your hands were always meant to be there....

In this piece --- the verse is told from the viewpoint...and the reader is taken-in within the lines of the event unfolding...seems the last line can be broken in two parts:

I dare not remove my hair for your hands were always meant to be there....
---
I dare not remove my hair -
for your hands were always meant to be there....

gives the pause before the ending conclusion and adds a bit of body...
IMPO --- this may be interpreted in a way you feel ---
so this is just a basis of thought...from me...
