Strength of My Life

This is something I wrote around 2006-07 and was later published in a small art/poetry book for military children.

When the tears fall from the sky...

They strike the earth with such sound...

The dirge begins to play...

Plays a tune of sorrow, lament, and grief.

The separation of sorrow,

The loss of lament,

The wolf's grief...

In the dark abyss all seems without hope,

Two things are still able to shine light

Into the world of darkness no matter how much misfortune

Has befallen the misfortunate, these two things can

Get us back onto our feet and soar as if we've never

Flown before...

They are right in front of us and no matter where

We go we can always find them.

These two things are plain and simple:
