I Will Sleep on the MoonA Poem by Terry Edgar
I will sleep on the moon tonight
I will breathe in and out a thousand different skies there will be no one for a million miles the stars will smile at me while I am asleep the air will pray 'my soul to keep' I will not need a friend out there out in the bitter, quiet air the planets will also be alone in long black holes I'll find a home the sun will rise as it always does but, for the night, it shines on us and so we have a kind of light I will sleep on the moon tonight © 2011 Terry EdgarFeatured Review
