I-

I-

A Poem by Tekie Scythe
"

Someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, so I sent them this.

"

This is what happens to me
When you ask me what I want to be
I mind drops into to the shallow
And I only use a single vowel

I, as you should know,
never learned how to sow
So I can’t put together the stitching
Of all the letters I am missing

Even after the question has fallen away
The thought in my mind has chosen to stay
Ideas haven’t stopped on a topic yet
I’ll have a log list on this, I bet.

Tekie Scythe
If you didn't pick up it, I'll tell you. I was referring to sowing together words and sentence, and the vowel I was referring to was "I."
